Hi community,
Our monthly-ish group journaling sessions are back and I’ve changed the format a bit, so I’m here to tell you what you can expect. While Practice sessions are usually for paid subscribers, I’ve decided that our upcoming session this Saturday will be open to all subscribers to kick off the new series. You can register to join us here.
I’m all about helping writers and creatives break down barriers to writing and find new pathways to the stories they want to tell. One of the ways I facilitate this work is by creating spaces for writers to be in community with each other, benefiting from the collective creative energy.
Practice sessions are 90-minute group journaling sessions featuring special guests who share their creative journey with us as well as a writing prompt. In the first half of the session, we will learn about different paths to creative fulfillment as we chat with our guest about their creative path and areas of expertise. For the second half, our guest will share a prompt with us, we will spend some time writing, and then we will discuss our insights and discoveries.
These sessions allow you to:
learn about different paths to creative fulfillment
charge up with fuel and inspiration for your writing practice
discover new entry points to healing and expression
explore new ideas, themes, and practices
benefit from the collective wisdom of the community
get words on the page
Our special guest this Saturday, March 1 is self-love and mindset coach, Yetti Ajayi-Obe.
SESSION #19: Group Journaling w/ Self-Love & Mindset Coach Yetti Ajayi-Obe
Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11 - 12:30 pm et | RSVP
Through affirmations and intentional practices, Yetti guides her clients in the unlearning of societal conditioning in order to embrace their authentic identities. She pours into her community the importance of prioritizing mental and emotional well-being with the same vigor as physical health.
Through the sharing of her story from self-loathing to self-love, she teaches the power of being rooted in oneself – mind, body, and spirit, because she knows what it feels like not to be. We will chat with Yetti about her creative journey, and she will provide us with a journaling prompt that we will work on together. You can learn more about her work on her website and Instagram.
