I planned to comment anyway because I got so much from this post, including two journaling prompts that got my brain wheels spinning 😆

This year, though only two weeks in, is already providing evidence that my limiting beliefs are sometimes irrational and false and I need to remember that playing small should no longer a part of my process.

Also, Natalie’s book was life changing and while I have the audible, the physical book has been on my list to buy so that I can highlight and note so I’m throwing my name in the hat! 🤞🏾

Same! “what if the true reward is...” stood out to me. What was yours?

Thank you GG for these!

(Also I’ve been making a list that literally helps me see my yes and my no. If I say yes to this I’m saying no to x. It’s helping me with my prioritization and executive functioning of this beautiful brain)

My true reward has been community and advocacy! I’ve been connected to SO many beautiful writers like you Carmen, like Gg, and sooo many others. I’ve also been able to give a voice to folks who struggle like me but aren’t able to tell their own stories.

I love that practice and will definitely be stealing it “if I say yes to this, I’m saying no to...”

Yes, Carmen! I love the practice of identifying what you're saying yes to and what you're saying no to, it's so helpful.

The older I get, the less I buy into that imposter syndrome BS, I can do anything I choose! Tanks for asking

Yesss!! For me it's getting older and having more experiences that just debunk that myth and show me that all I have to do in any room I'm in is be my whole self. I'm realizing that so many of my "imposter syndrome" and "self-sabotaging" thoughts came from me absorbing limiting beliefs from other people.

Lady..... isn’t it interesting how others project their 💩 onto others and we absorb the stench as if it’s exotic and expensive perfume?! Some of it is due to our Mothers, they only intended to protect us, but damn.... doesn’t it feel good to let it go?!
